Japanese cuisine - not only sushi and ramen!

Are there any lovers of Japanese cuisine among the readers of our blog? For certain! We have great news for you: the Japanese people diet is considered one of the healthiest in the world, due to the presence of fish rich in omega-3 acids. Although the dishes from the Land of the Cherry Blossom are very different from those that are served on our tables every day, they are becoming more and more popular in Poland. Here are one of the most interesting dishes of Japanese cuisine!  

Characteristics of Japanese cuisine

You think: Japanese cuisine, you see: sushi. But the cuisine of the inhabitants of the Land of the Cherry Blossom is much richer! It contains dishes inspired by Chinese and European cuisine. Except the raw, fried or baked fishes, it must include seafood, seagrass, mushrooms, pickled vegetables, tofu, meats and salads with rice vinegar. Dishes from the Japanese Peninsula can also be recognized by characteristic spices such as ginger, wasabi or mirin - a sweet spice based on alcohol.

Japanese cuisine is also aromatic soups such as ramen. Another popular soup in Japan is miso-shiru prepared from broth with the addition of soybean paste, fish or tofu.

Japanese cuisine - dishes for every occasion

Are you planning a business dinner with new contractors or colleagues? Are you willing to delight guests invited to your birthday party with original flavours? Or are you looking for an unusual way to celebrate a round wedding anniversary? Japanese dishes will work well for any occasion. Although many people would like to go on a a symbolic culinary journey to the Land of the Cherry Blossom, they fear they will not be able to prepare properly. Despite appearances, many dishes can be easily cooked by yourself! However, if you do not feel up to it or simply don't want to look into the kitchen every second then during the party, let a professional take care of your taste buds.
